He regularly makes the bench for the most stacked national football team in the world (France). He's still only 23 years-old. He was at Barca during the Barto-era and was very young, even at the time a lot of people felt he wasn't ready for Barca.

I thought he would end up at Madrid. I think a lot of people felt that Kane would not see much prestige in winning the Bundesliga (and tbf, when asked about his goals for the season he mostly talked about the CL). I remember a comment that got a lot of upvotes when Kane was announced went something like "winning the Bundesliga as your first trophy is like losing your virginity to a prostitute".

Lewy is never missing in confidence. When he's playing poorly it's not because of a lack of confidence. Unless you were talking about Kounde in which case, yeah, hope that helps him.

Is that what fans mean when they keep saying Hojlund needs "service" to score goals? He scored 2 tap ins that were on the goal line with no keeper in sight, is THAT what it takes for him to score goals?

It's a training pitch, it's not too big a deal. City built Aguero and Silva statues while they were acting players, now THAT was weird.

Is Lewandowski considered a Bayern Munich legend?

Not entirely true. Juve's midfield isn't great and there isn't much any manager could do with those options. The attack isn't great either.

Juve would have finished in 3rd spot last season and only 2-points behind 2nd place had they not had the points deduction.

They are currently 2-points behind first place Inter this season.

With the options he has, I really think Allegri is doing well. I think if he had Pogba and Chiesa fit he would be walking this league. Inter has the best team by far imo, Inzaghi is underachieving, but I do think he will win it this season.

At some point in the last couple of seasons I remember we had a game where Sergio Roberto and Jordi Alba were the only La Masia graduates in the match day squad. La Masia looked well and truly done for.

Oh ja! I don't know why I forgot Martinez with Belgium/Portugal. Scolari was ages ago lol, may as well mention Capello at England too. Carlo may be the next one with Brazil.

Potter failed to implement his tactics and philosophy at Chelsea despite working with the players every single day. What makes people think he would have the time to implement his tactics when he only gets to see his players for a week or 2 every couple of months? Teams that do well at national team level tend to go with basic football. Spain could play their intricate football because the majority of their team played together at club level too.

and why handicap yourself when others won't do the same?

Most do thought don't they? The only nations that often hire foreign managers are the African nations no? Is there any major national team that had a foreign manager recently?

I don't think Sancho agrees to go to the Saudi League. Plenty of players have rejected moving to the Saudi League, Lukaku is one such example.

From that Twitter post he made it sounds like he still rates himself. Fair enough, I'd really like to see how he does outside of United/EPL, people forget that Mbappe vs. Sancho was a genuine debate to be had at some point, talent like that doesn't evaporate especially when a player has not had career ending injuries
