The wife loves milk drinks so I’ll have to check this out!

As a chiefs fan, I saw and acknowledge your pain

Hard to not to look good in Shanahan’s system. As we’ve seen, any qb can be over 10 wins just by the rest of the team doing what they do

Very cool to see coffee around the world!

Thank you! Would love to check them, I’m also in the US so I’ll check them out.

Hey everyone, wanted to throw up another thread to talk bean and roaster recs. Wanted to try something new!

I just got a Brazilian Rose Diamond coffee from a local roaster. It’s super earthy and tea like with rose. Been loving it!

Love coffee as a hobby for this reason. You can start with $20 to get simple pour over equipment or even nicer venas but you can go far and high with it eventually or stop at the $20

That sounds awesome! Been wanting to get into cold brew for awhile so cool to what others are doing

What’s your concentrate recipe? Do you use a cold brew system for it or just grounds in water?

Will definitely checkout the 540 with extension tube then!

[–] BestBunsInTown_@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (2 children)

How much do you roast with the 500 reasonably?

[–] BestBunsInTown_@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Great article! Will definitely be checking that out. I’ve heard a lot of people turned off of home roasting by trying pan roasting the first time so I thought I’d jump in fully and save some money with green coffee.

I’ve been thinking about an air popper so I may give it a shot

I’ve been thinking about getting into home roasting, anyone got any tips of first roasters and places to check out for green beans? I was thinking a SR800 with extension tube from sweet Maria’s and the green coffee there as well but love to hear other thoughts!

I think a general computer vision and image processing community would be a great addition to the instance. They are rapidly advancing fields that needs a community that can be a place of discussion. There can be discussions on the theoretical side, the research side, the industry side, and the hobbyist side. Furthermore, it could work with other communities, like actually useful AI, because of the increasing use of deep learning in both fields. Users could share helpful implementations of algorithms, ways they been using new state of the art techniques, how the classical method still works just as well, and more.

What’s everyone’s pour over recipes? Chemex, Kalita, v69, anything! Would love to try something new.

I’m trying to find more communities to keep up with computer vision and photogrammetry research. I’d love to start some if there’s no any.

Hey y’all, it’s time to recommend what beans you’ve been brewing with this!

I’ve been brewing with tropical weather from Oynx (https://onyxcoffeelab.com/products/tropical-weather?variant=31862710173794). I’m not usually a blend guy but I’m really digging it. It’s sweet and tea like with a little fruit. It’s great stuff.

One of the best parts of a new roaster or bag of coffee is, to me, seeing new bag designs. What’s your favorite roaster designs and do they match the flavors well?
