Did you try with a new Sim card ? I had the same problem on my fairphone where it kept losing the network.

I got a new sim card, it fixed the issue and it seem to be a common issue with Fairphones

I quite like sofirn flashlights. I don't have a handheld from them but their headlamps and lantern served me well.

I think most of not all have USBC charging, standard removable lithium batteries and aluminum body.

Someone sent me code snippets that I needed by putting a screenshot of the code in a word document and sending me that by email.

Next time you see a plane imaging two hooks in the middle of the wings, a crane lifting up the plane with these two hooks and shaking it.

This give you a good approximation of what the forces in the plane are, and once you picture that you might think that there is no way the plane can hold up in this situation. Yet it does.

I think it's more that the doctor was struggling to insert it, so he offer the local anesthetic only to make his job easier.

It was defined as

one ten-millionth of the shortest distance from the North Pole to the equator passing through Paris.

The stick of metal in Paris is just so people don't have to do measure the distance between the north pole and the equator each time they want to check their measuring tool.

As a related story I had a discussion with a guy that worked as head of security for a big watch manufacturing company in Switzerland (think about handmade watches worth several $10k-$100k)

He spotted some of the watchmakers casually going back home with watches in their pocket without any documentation about it, saying that they wanted to do some of the work at home. He stopped that of course.

He quickly got a call from HR explaining to him that a talented watchmaker is almost impossible to replace, they can go knock next door to another manufacturer and be hired at whatever salary they ask for. On the other hand It's much easier to find a replacement for a head of security.

So I imagine a talented wizard would be like the watchmakers, the lab could be highly secured but with blatant security breach because the wizard cannot be bothered.

It depends on the type of rock, a lot of old houses in Europe have exposed stone walls and the dust is not a problem.
