Total nonsense.

They (Amsterdam council) made a soccer based risk analysis, which was deemed low.

Then because of the current political climate they explicitly kicked it up to the counter terrorism bureau of the Netherlands to make a risk assessment. The NCTB said there where no credible threats or other direct indications of pre planned problems but did indicate the risk as above average, hence the local government had almost double the extra police they normally would have in the occasion of a soccer match.

Now an independent audit of the preparations is scheduled and a separate audit of the day itself.

As for what happened on the day itself, both groups are pointing at the other, and depending on the stance people have on Israël they blame a specific group.. but the fact is things are very unclear at this moment. We have very colored whiteness statements and videos that don't show whole incidents from prelude to finish, just snippets.

The police did indicate that because the people assaulting the soccer supporters using small groups and hit and run tactict, they had a lot of problems getting a handle on things, as usually soccer riots is 2 large groups duking it out.. this was very different.. another reason the police are also conducting their separate investigation as they need to learn lessons from this as well.

I'm inclined to deem both groups assholes and wait for the investigation. Regardless violence of any kind is unacceptable. And soccer matches should have a surcharge to pay for police presence as this should not be on the publics dime.

Us vs them too. It's different, people hate change. So now there is a them and an us..

That would have been the wrong lesson from Watergate.

Evil rots the body.

The animals that see their migration path disrupted by this won't, that's a shame.

I fear we will be seeing a lot more of this kind of news from around the world.

He can deliver some tomahawks and other deep deep strike capabilities. And then the Ukrainians sit on them until Trump takes over. Then they have a bargaining chip.. turn open the tap or we will fucking drag you into our conflict kicking and screaming.

And BLM was already out on the streets.

Covid and Trumps handling of it.
But energy was high in the anti Trump camp anyway with BLM protests.

So saying the Dems need to move more right is the opposite of the right lesson. Just look at political donations to Bernie.. from across the US. There are no moderate republicans, they all stayed with trump, there is a huge untapped electorate in the US that wants something else, and I'd argue it is more left social democrats and what they bring.... But the capital class will never allow it in the US. The moment you talk wealth distribution, even MSNBC and such call you communist.

Edit: oh and Biden should have taken action on Trumps fascism on day 1. Chuck him in jail pending trial and get it over with. Everyone except a small part of his base distanced themselves from him, the time was in the first 100 days of taking office, but they did NOTHING.. they might as well have stormed the capitol themselves by now.

Now Ukraine can hire former USAF patriot operators and F16 maintainers and other former US servicemen with specific skill sets through blackwater or some other contractor.

They are now saying, we got the mandate, we gotta do it. I even heard a rep senator say that they will go after companies employing illegals because then they will go home.

Get ready, because this will cripple agriculture and other sectors.

Also, the IRS knows who employs illegals.. easily. They know how much revenues companies make per employee from massive datasets, they can easily point out the companies that over earn compared to their employee numbers in a specific sector. Same as they can easily determine someone's income from their yacht, house or jet size.

In the Netherlands they for example audit hair salons if their purchase of hairspray (or other consumables) does not line up with their listed revenue.. they know the revenue per bottle of hairspray... Or at least the range it should be in.

That is because building institutions is A LOT harder than tearing them down. The dem variant would most likely be something like stopping all subsidies to corporations and giving the money to the poor, and working up. just cash in hand, you sort it out yourself.. sort of like UBI.

Edit: but the scarcity in things like the housing market would mean everything immediately jumps in price..

With all the footage coming out of Ukraine with the fpv drones, the games seen in some episodes used for training make a lot of sense. The game Janeway and seven shooting small maneuverable airborne drones, comes to mind. But also guinan and the shooting colored dots. I have no clue what the games where called, but the prediction is spot on.

If we can't come in, you can't come out either

National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told PBS News on Monday that the agreement with Ukraine to fire into Russia extends wherever Russian forces are attempting to invade.
