Dear Guys, I was arrested in late 2021 and my mugshot is up with an article on the internet. The case eventually got dismissed and I have already started the expungement process. When I talked to the attorney handling the expungement process, he told me we can write a formal letter after the expungement is completed, however they have the right to deny it due to the freedom of speech act. This is genuinely hurting my internship/job oppurtunities and the social ridicule is too much to handle. What is the best way to navigate this situation? Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you so much!
