It was a pretty good app until it was bought by some Chinese company and since then it all went downhill. That must have been almost 8 years ago iirc

I did the same, but sadly Simple Gallery is a lot slower, at least for me, than Quickpic was before it was bought.

EXTREMELY enshittened app, like holy crap did they ever do a number on that one. It's been years but seeing this makes it feel like yesterday.

Anyone else missing this app, FYI, there is a modded version of it available on github that makes it as good as it ever was.

I remember using QuickPic all the way back on Android Gingerbread. They sure had enough time to solve "All Problem".
