Yeah, yeah, yeah. No collision and no injury.

At least charge the officer with dangerous driving and failure to yield to a pedestrian. They were, after all, INSIDE the crosswalk and effectively forced the pedestrian to jump outside of it while they were crossing with the right of way!

Another way to frame this is .... if the officer had witnessed this same interaction as a third party and saw a vehicle nearly run over a pedestrian like this.

I can only imagine the number of charges, suits and claims that would go flying around between the pedestrian, the driver, and the police and none of it would have been reported by the local news.
