Only those I bought for myself, sadly.

What did you give yourself?

One of the downsides to being the main poster on !ebookdeals@literature.cafe is that I tend to buy everything I deem worthy to post. So I got quite a few deeply discounted ones in the weeks leading up. Beyond that, I got some great T. Kingfisher books, Jim Butcher’s newest in the Cinder Spires, John Scalzi’s Starter Villain, and the Discworld Humble Bundle.

Wait, what's the downside? ;D

John Scalzi’s Starter Villain

Oh, how is it? I really like Scalzi.

If you enjoyed Kaiju Preservation Society you will enjoy Starter Villain. They feel similar in that they don’t deal with anything too heavy hitting for sci-fi and are more fun in a sci-fi/fantasy-style setting. They are a good refresher.

I've read an eclectic grouping of his books, and I will add both Kaiju Preservation Society/Starter Villain. The last two of his I remember reading are The Collapsing Empire and Redshirts, and I loved both.
