If I never read the books, would I enjoy this show?

My husband has never read the books, watched Season 1 with me, and enjoyed it. The person saying it's got problems isn't wrong, but as confused as my husband was at times, I had a lot more problems with it than he did because of my knowledge of the books. I didn't hate it at much as many other book fans did, so we will watch Season 2 and probably once again be entertained but mildly disappointed.

Yeah I think the show is harder to watch if you've read the books.

I had some issues with season 1, but I'll give season 2 a fresh chance. My wife who hasn't read the books enjoyed it

I’ve read the books and still enjoy the show. So if you like that sort of thing, yep.

You kind of have to forget the books to enjoy the show, so yeah that probably wouldn't be a hindrance.

Probably not. It's not particularly well made or coherent.

I think if you have not read the book you should enjoy it more than someone who has.

I think you can only enjoy this show if you haven't read the books. My wife liked it. I was 100% cringe 100% of the time.
