Possibly every time when I - deadly tired, wishing only for quick and painless death - get up and offer to walk to a shop/market and buy whatever is needed at home...

Everytime I show off the custom ROMs for my Android smartphones.

Aye my man!

I am a Corvus guy, but the ROMs been abandoned for my device recently. (Dev lost his phone 🤦🏻‍♂️)

So, now I'm on Superior OS.

P.S.- I've installed Pixel Experience on my dad's phone and he's been so happy 🙃

I can understand that, the charm of PE is its simplicity, sadly it sucks on my device 😅

The mantainer isn't able to keep it updated, and I don't know why they don't give it to someone else 🤷🏻

I think both of those ROMs you mentioned are available for my device... Or were... I like simple things (not as simple as LineageOS though), so I'm pretty comfortable with Paranoid Android, although its RAM management isn't the greatest.

Ah man it's so nice to meet a fellow tinkerer.

I saw this cool video once... In case someone ever asks you what these ROMs are. Here.

In a nutshell custom ROMs are nice because they fix cringe OEM outdated stocks, and often gives new life to "old hardware".

My device is stuck at A12 officially, with AOSP ROMs A14 is on the table, and probably a lot more.

Yep.

They help breathe life into old and new devices.
