Hello.

I want to expand my storage and contemplating if I should get an M.2 or a conventional internal SSD. I really want to an M.2 however the second PCIE 3.0 slot in my motherboard is being blocked by my GPU. I don't know if this will fit and even if it does, will it run efficiently since it does not receive much positive airflow (I plan to have a heatsink installed as well but I don't know if it will fit or not).

Safer option for my situation is an 2.5'' SATA SSD. But for the sake of knowledge, will an M.2 still be good here? I have a ASUS TUF B560M motherboard btw.

Recommendations will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
