I've assembled a workstation PC from spare parts that I'm looking to sell locally. The sum of individual part prices totals $1000+ (considering the new/used values appropriately). But these are server components in a desktop form factor, so I'm assuming the market value might be lower. I'm hoping the right buyer will see that this setup can function as a solid workstation and/or server in one package. How much do you think it's worth?

So I decide to get back into the PC community, mech keyboard community, and mouse community, and suddenly, everything is going haywire. Mechs and Co. is suddenly not fulfilling orders, and LTT is starting to crumble. After putting into perspective on how many videos they make in a week it somewhat makes sense, but I need a better explanation on what else they did besides atrocious testing and auctioning. Can someone PLEASE explain what happened to LTT?

Original Title: I've got a pc already bit it very old now an in need of a major upgrade on pretty much all components minus the ram an power supply which I can reuse, I want to make a good rig that can run most thing in ultra/max setting smoothly. I'm looking to build cheap as possible.

I'm looking for any suggestions on where to get components cheap an what components are worth looking at, I've looked at getting a complete new build on websites like pc specialist an coming in about £3k mates have suggested it's cheaper to build an upgrade but not sure where i should even start can remember specs an models of all pieces in current pc but can get once home later, for now can tell your their old 8+ years maybe an that it an gtx nvidia titan 12gb graphics card.

What I'm most concerned about is that anything I buy to upgrade won't be worth it in long run as most thing I have right now are probably not compatible with newer bits

This will be my build after a few upgrades. I’m switching to an AM5 board and going from a 3800x to the 7800X3D. Can people have a look and let me know if I’m not considering something or if there is something I should change out. I only game and at 1440P UW but will upgrade to a 4k monitor sooner or later. for the last couple days i’ve been having an issue where if i start up rust after a few minutes it crashes my whole pc and won’t turn on display, games like project zomboid and kenshi are fine but i’ve tried restarting it, cleaning it, fully factory resetting it and all it does is nothing. My temps seem to be fine and just a week ago everything was running well, what could be the issue?
