Lol the Messi cockriding on here is insane.

He’s the best player of all time. He’s not a saint as much as some of you act like it.

[–] fedemasa@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

From defending cops that like beating women with babies you can't come back

What a disgusting person

[–] RatsCatsAndDogs@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

What should he have done when the police started beating Argentine fans and the Brazilian players not only didn't help the Argentine players try to calm down the police but mocked them for it?

[–] Marcelosouzadearaujo@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

He could do the same thing he does when Argentinians are racist towards Brazilians and other nations, nothing lol

Cry me a river, Argentinians are the worst fans of all in SA, they were fighting brazilians before the cops came in.

[–] ZuReeTH@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (4 children)

Rich coming from a Brazilian huh, away fans can't even place a foot in Rio without getting beaten or robbed lmao

Rodrygo and co could do the same thing btw

Rodrygo called Messi a "coward" for standing up to his people. Yet calling him out for being wrong means cockriding Messi? Are you really that fucking dumb?

[–] discoball17@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

How the post is formulated is funny. Rodrygo's father ATTACKS Messi. ATTACKS if this is an attack what Messi has done last few games is a crime. Messi dickriding is real here.

Good old times when Brazil vs Argentina used to be full of brawls and nobody would cry over it.

Yet he was wanting his son to go to Barcelona just to play with Messi. Maybe Rodrygo should watch his mouth next time

De Paul over here like Doctor Evil’s #2

[–] johan_donquixote@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Maybe first tell your kid to work on his game instead of talking shit to the greatest player of all time...

The little dictator sends his regards

[–] SharkSoldier@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (3 children)

off topic, but parents should be prohibited from visiting players during training.

Yet another reason why you should keep your parents from social media, especially if you’re a famous person.

[–] moodchainz@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (4 children)

always wonder why family members of football players/celeberties feel the need to spew nonsense on social media

[–] AFrozen_1@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

It’s the classic soccer mom/dad trope. Same shit happened with Gio Reyna and his parents.

I mean Rodrygo started it but ok

[–] varvar334@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yeah, how do you call an entire team "shitters", and when they respond to you they are now the bad guys?

So fans are getting beat up on the stands, Argentinian players make a stance and leave the field and get called cowards by the likes of Rodrygo and somehow Messi is the villain for calling him up.

Thiee new Brazilian players are extremly unlikable

[–] Samp90@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

School ground stuff by Brazil. Everything always loses context in the noise and media starts just picking on high profile players for sensationalism.

[–] InfiniteFireLoL@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

The entire Argentinian squad is unlikeable

You know that Argentina was beating the shit out of us the whole match like they always do.

And Messi is always portraid as this nice guy but people who watch the matches know that he is not that nice.

Argentinians are the worst out of all the south american teams to face because they hit you and them pretend that nothing happens.

We, from South America know how these guys behave on and off the pitch.

As for the police beating up argentinians, its terrible but they beat brazilians much worse, its Brazil nothing to do with beating up other fans.

And remember, there were several fights between both sides before the police did anything.

They are a bunch of playboys with no empathy

[–] IrishOratoria@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

I am not sure what his dad is trying to do here at all. Surely he is defending his son, but this was just one of the many arguments between players that happen every game or so.

I mean you could make a poor argument for Rodrygo that he might have not realise how terrible the cops were acting at that time, but after the game there is no way his father didn't see bleeding and comatose fans leaving the stadium on stretchers.

They are both on the wrong here and anyone who can't see that is seriously biased.

Rodrygo should see what is going on in the stands. You can blame his age for being naive but at the end of the day what he said was wrong. A football game is never bigger than real situations going around. Its the same situation with Vini getting racially abused. No player should be complaining if the match is paused. He's being a shitty human being here.

On the other hand, Messi is fucking 36 year old and the way he grabs people is stupid and should be facing a couple of games suspension. And it's also up to him as the senior player and leader on the pitch to explain to someone ~15 years younger about the situation and how he should be acting.

The fact that Messi was even talking about how he's the champion and how he won it there should show anyone that he is acting like a baby. He's supposed to be a captain but his actions on the pitch looked like a school bully especially with De Paul being his bodyguard waiting to jerk him off the first second he got.

What people fail to mention here is that (non surprisingly) argentinians are harassing Rodrygo with racism ever since the game.

Stop crying

[–] greenfrogwallet@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Messi is the goat but it’s true people overplay how nice he is and portray him as some sort of kind and pacifist saint when throughout his career he’s shown he’s definitely not above some dirtiness and feistiness in his play and conduct.

Not saying he’s particularly terrible but let’s get it straight the guy isn’t squeaky clean like Kante or someone like that

I cant wait for this sub to start crying because a post being negative about messi

[–] HacksawJimDGN@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Calls someone a coward. Hides behind his dad for backup....

[–] GYIM94@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Does Rodrygo need daddy to defend him? Him and Ramsdale should start a needing parents to defend them club together

[–] Tokens-Life-Matters@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Messi is definitely in his shithouse phase but rodrygo deserved it.

[–] sammy1345@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Swear it was light as fuck, just put his hand on Rodrygo's neck for a bit. It's nowhere near to what some people are saying (Choking, violence.)

This shit happens, south american qualifiers are absolute cinema.

From what I understand, Messi refused to play until police stopped beating Argentinian fans with batons and Rodrygo got pissy and started calling him a coward for it?

Not sure what his dad’s upset about. Maybe he should teach his son to keep his mouth shut instead of needlessly talking nonsense.

[–] calmdragoon@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

he is upset because messi fans are racially harassing rodrygo, and messi is staying quiet so he is conivent

I almost yelled at my dad when I was a kid for annoying me while I was trying to play, I don’t know how professionals allow their family members to comment on things like this

[–] TetsuoTheObsidianMan@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (3 children)

Brazilians acting tough while crying profusely over this situation is so funny. Doesn’t help they’ve been dog water the past few months. Who knew Neymar was gonna be the only likable person on the team? Lol
