So fans are getting beat up on the stands, Argentinian players make a stance and leave the field and get called cowards by the likes of Rodrygo and somehow Messi is the villain for calling him up.

Thiee new Brazilian players are extremly unlikable

Petulant prima donnas who were raised on the stories of Brazilian footballing supremacy and didn't put in the work to maintain the legacy. The mighty have fallen and they're just a shadow of their former selves now.

[–] Positive-Media423@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

They are a bunch of playboys with no empathy

[–] Alireza8226@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

How's the taste of messi's cock you pessidog meat rider?

[–] triedby12@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

lol, Messi is clearly grabbing a throat in the picture. This is not professional, however you look at it. And I've seen him do it more than once. So stop protecting him like he is your god and can do no harm.

It’s funny, I don’t know if it was here at the beginning of the post or some other thread but godDAMN were quick to shit on Messi following this. So many people being like “he’s a cunt” “despicable human being” “I always knew he was horrible.”

Like what?! Some people just love to hop on any bandwagon

As a brazilian Rodrygo should have kept his mouth shut. When Messi said "How are we cowards if we just won the world cup?". Rodrygo should have said "Congrats in winning the WC, Messi, now your NT has the same number of WCs as Pelé". Can't even trash talk properly ffs.

The entire Argentinian squad is unlikeable

[–] reXXXiF@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Just that fucktard Enzo Fernandez

I am not sure what his dad is trying to do here at all. Surely he is defending his son, but this was just one of the many arguments between players that happen every game or so.

I mean you could make a poor argument for Rodrygo that he might have not realise how terrible the cops were acting at that time, but after the game there is no way his father didn't see bleeding and comatose fans leaving the stadium on stretchers.

[–] dunneetiger@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He could have thought that there is also the chance that the police are protecting another group of fans from hooligans ie it is fair.
Also players shouldn’t leave the pitch without the consent of the ref.

[–] KeolXPr0n@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

he is trying to defend his son, he is going to get traction, the brazilian football fans are obviously united, and will give support.

This whole situation is not that surprising, but it sure is good shit to watch.

Are all these suddenly ~20 year old millionaires unlikeable? Well I'll be...

[–] lala_b11@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

i didn't like the way Messi grabbed Rodrygo

[–] Spirited_Oil7987@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Messi likes choking now ig

[–] Sente-se@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He is saying that Messi is not the saint that he is treated as being as him grabbing the neck of two opositors clearly shows, which is true. I don't see how Rodrygo doing what is pretty regular shit talking makes him unlikable either

[–] Samp90@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

School ground stuff by Brazil. Everything always loses context in the noise and media starts just picking on high profile players for sensationalism.

[–] Rickcampbell98@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

It does make sense to me at all.

[–] Mr_Bluebird_VA@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

They also aren't very good it seems.

[–] Marcelosouzadearaujo@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

You know that Argentina was beating the shit out of us the whole match like they always do.

And Messi is always portraid as this nice guy but people who watch the matches know that he is not that nice.

Argentinians are the worst out of all the south american teams to face because they hit you and them pretend that nothing happens.

We, from South America know how these guys behave on and off the pitch.

As for the police beating up argentinians, its terrible but they beat brazilians much worse, its Brazil nothing to do with beating up other fans.

And remember, there were several fights between both sides before the police did anything.

Dude was busy tweeting, he only looked at the TV whenever Brazil had the ball. It's understandable that he didn't see how many fouls Brazil comitted.

[–] KimngGnmik@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

They are both on the wrong here and anyone who can't see that is seriously biased.

Rodrygo should see what is going on in the stands. You can blame his age for being naive but at the end of the day what he said was wrong. A football game is never bigger than real situations going around. Its the same situation with Vini getting racially abused. No player should be complaining if the match is paused. He's being a shitty human being here.

On the other hand, Messi is fucking 36 year old and the way he grabs people is stupid and should be facing a couple of games suspension. And it's also up to him as the senior player and leader on the pitch to explain to someone ~15 years younger about the situation and how he should be acting.

The fact that Messi was even talking about how he's the champion and how he won it there should show anyone that he is acting like a baby. He's supposed to be a captain but his actions on the pitch looked like a school bully especially with De Paul being his bodyguard waiting to jerk him off the first second he got.

There are shorter ways to say you’ve never played football
