Bit of a unique challenge I was thinking of.

Essentially every time you kill a named non-playable character the timer restarts and you have 10 minutes to kill another named NPC or the game is over.

A named NPC would be a character like Doc Mitchell not a generic character like Novac Settler.

I am wondering if 10 minutes is too much or too little time.

I would be interested to hear some feedback on how you think a run like this would go and parts that might prove difficult.

I'm inclined to think it's too little time, I would see it as being entirely possible to go 10 minutes without being able to find a named NPC.

I would increase it to 20, maybe even 30 minutes. That way it's never a sprint just to find the next one, but a counting down inevitability before you must kill again.

Really? I can't think of a lot of places within the main questline where it would be that big of a struggle. Even on the way to Vegas I think I could make some pit stops along the way.

I might have to immediately kill Doc Mitchell though

Are you trying to beat the game as fast as you can? what's your goal with this playthrough?

In a way. It's more to stay on top of the challenge and complete the game.

A little more than a traditional weapon/play style restricted run
