Original Title: Isn’t it absolute black magic fuckery how in maybe 1 year, y’all be able to just pull any fictional character into literal existence and have a freaking conversation with them? Imagine if you told the authors of 100 years ago their characters might materialize in the future. That shit is crazy.

I mean you could do that right now with text already, since the biggest model have a great understanding of popular media, but it’s kinda flawed yet and quickly breaks immersion. Imagine if these models get more and more lifelike, with voices and shit, and someone ties everything together and then you might be able to specifically finetune the model on lets say Harry Potter and create a specialist model on a single character. In one year from now, this will be like actually talking to them.

Hell, even imagine if someone puts them agents into a digital frame with a little webcam and a mic. You could deadass have Dumbledores Portrait in your room and ask him for advices and he will be EXACTLY like in the movies.
