Unless he's just joined that club by then I don't see why it would be an issue.
I mean if he joins for a random example chelsea, he isn't gonna leave for city, probably

I remember two summers ago everyone said this about Ten Hag.
De Zerbi is hot property.
I've never heard anything about Ten Hag to Man City.
There were plenty of articles back in the day.
Most people hyped ten Hag in links with Bayern, considering his history working for them before and it being his favourite club. Still think he should have waited for his chance to join them instead.
Why? United is the biggest challenge in the world right now.
Imagine being the manager who takes this huge club back to glory? Its a tempting propersition for any manager.
His reputation has taken a massive hit since being at United
Not really. He smashed it in the first season and there are some struggles now due to a myriad of factors - massive hit is hyperbolic. Need I remind you Arteta almost got the sack?
I dont think so. He has done well, as a manager, in the permanent shitstorm that is United. He is rulling with an iron fist, and Sancho is the next one on the block. Fergie was like that too. As a man, the Greenwood situation has exposed him hard.
Has it? He was widely praised for his work last season. This season is young and we have been hit with more injuries than any other club (bar Chelsea) + other shit on top of it.
Who you'd replace him with is irrelevant. They didn't say he was getting sacked.
But unequivocally, his reputation has taken a hit based on what he has done at United compared to Ajax.
I think it's taken more of a hit because of Ange at Spurs. We've heard lots of waiting for Ten Hag to get his style settled in before results tick over. The season is still young, and he did have a decent season last year, but that also involved alot of teams shitting the bed outside the top 4. This is far more of a test. And the fact that Ange got into Spurs and transformed their style almost instantly with only a few signings already says alot about his quality. If that continues and Spurs finish ahead of Man Utd this season, then you've seriously got to be asking questions about Ten Hag since he's spent an insane amount of money already.
His support for Greenwood has definitely taken him down in my eyes.
united feels sort of like chelsea, a quick sure fire way to torpedo ur managing career. the clubs are ran like shit, beyond what a coach can do.

De Zerbi has done it in the Prem, 7Hag was winning in much less competitive league with the out and out best team.
This is the quintessential Pep sweet talk before he destroys the opposing team 5-0. Many people have fallen prey to it.
i just dont see de zerbi as the pep replacement people think he is, any other club recruits a new manager and there's talk about how there's no trophies in his cabinet etc, de zerbi has done a good job at Brighton and a good job before that but how can you replace pep with someone who hasn't really won any major honours(or replace him at all for that matter)?
I think way more interesting is what Pep will do after he eventually leaves City, if he even continues at all.
I don't think he will stay in the Prem nor will he go back to the Bundesliga so the only realistic options would be 1. back to Barca, 2. Serie A or PSG or 3. national team coach.
My favourite option would be for him to go to Serie A, all four top teams (Juve, Milan, Inter, Napoli) would be very interesting but unfortunately I see him most likely taking a bigger break or taking a national team job (most likely Spain but maybe even something like Argentina or England).
