Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Agreed. Does anyone have any idea how this whole situation ends without violence? There's just too many people fed too many falsehoods for far too long.
Oh, there will be violence. It'll just be flailing loser violence, as on January 6, not a civil war.
If it comes down to it, the US military supports the conservative law & order party, not the frothy radical fascist party.

"Does anyone have any idea how this whole situation ends without violence?": The average voter informs themselves about what the Republicans are doing to our country and why the Democrats and especially the Progressives are a better answer to this country's issues and the vote accordingly. Otherwise it probably ends with Republicans killing off a bunch of minorities through policy and allowing people like James Alex Fields to go free.
Trolling morphed after 2016 so you would’ve been right prior, but it’s not just “for the lulz” anymore. In 2023 this counts as trolling. It’s deliberate agitation as an end goal.
