I will start this out with a disclaimer that I do not follow Christianity at all....
If you are a bible-follower and friendly towards homosexuals, then I guess you're skipping over that part where it says "homosexuality is an abomination".
That's one of the many reasons I can't look to the Bible for guidance. I have some gay friends and they deserve all the love and consideration everyone should get.
To those that say the Bible deserves to be followed, but exclude the parts where it says homosexuality is an abomination, I wonder what other parts you ignore? AFAIK, one isn't supposed to flip through the Bible and pick and choose which sections should be followed.
This is one of the many reasons why I consider the Bible immoral, and following it either immoral or morally and logically inconsistent.

When asked to respond to Falco's inflammatory remarks, the church said in a statement that the preacher was "only calling for the death penalty and suicide for the actual sodomites (homosexuals). The Bible teaches that those people are worthy of death. They are supposed to be executed by the government. We are not to take the law into our own hands."
This is the "reserved" and "compromise" position in their eyes.
reminder: these fascists assholes are not human. they give up all humanity when they actively choose to become or remain within this trump nazi cult. so when we say “nazis are not human” we are not dehumanizing them; they did it to themselves.

Nah, they need to be executed. If it's legal for them to say gay people should be executed, it's legal for me to say they should be executed.
They are human. Hatred and cruelty is part of who we as humans are. The better among us are supposed to keep the monsters in check. We failed.
There is no final check on monstrosity. You failed. Accepting your personal limits is healthy. However, there is still plenty of we's attempting to check the monsters.

Someone really should investigate that preacher because there is a near 100% chance he is a pedophile.
In a sermon titled, "Pray the Gay Away," Stephen Falco, an evangelical preacher with the Sure Foundation Baptist Church, yelled from the pulpit, "They're all a bunch of f-----, that want to walk around, come on our streets, and demand our children. And we should look them in the eye and say, 'No, you're not going to have our children!'"
What a disgusting message. I wouldn’t be sad if this sack of shit got hit by a bus.

This is something that will eventually Happen. It is already is happening “underground” they just use loopholes to get people killed. Look at the king of hill guy. That’s not just a one off thing. It’s social manipulation. It’s not just happening to them. They know what they are doing. We are already in a social psychological civil war, and it’s not random crazies… it’s people manipulated to go crazy, whether it’s someone murdering, suicides, or pressure that makes someone commit crimes so they end up in prison. This is America.
