Copyright is only a monetary incentive. If Riot's not going to do anything with all that work and art, it should be public-domain.

The vintage story dev said he's gotten 20+ job applications but since they're a small indie studio he realistically won't hire more than a few.

Holy shit it would be so good if they got some of the artists. I absolutely love the atmosphere, and even the animals are fine, but the characters really need some improvement.
