That's a peak western chauvinist take right there. My wife and I are lowkey planning a trip to Thailand to explore the food, suppose that makes us some sort of creeps?
This whole concept of some places being judge worthy is racist as hell.
While Theiland does have a rich history and culture you being deliberately naive if you're saying that there isn't massive prostitution industry there. I'm not saying anything bad about the country I'm just saying if you want to visit you probably don't have the best intentions.

You'd have to be really fucking retarded to believe that those things are only bad and prevelant in those countries. Or that their governments aren't doing anything to try and stop those things either. So honestly you'll be doing everyone there a favor by never going 😂. This is incredibly dismissive of two entire countries and cultures. I suspect it’s based out of ignorance or preconceived notions rather than any actual experience or knowledge
Thailand is an absolutely beautiful country with amazing food why would you say “nothing good happens there”, I don’t know enough about the Philippines to have an opinion about it but that also seems like quite an overstatement for them as well
It's pretty known for sex tourism, including the underage kind. That's only if it's somebody who fits the profile of a sex tourist, though.
I just can’t imagine having a person I call a friend who told me they came back from Thailand and my thought went to I bet they went there to sleep with underage prostitutes. Like I know people do that but I would never willingly associate with a person who I thought would do that
I've never had a guy tell me that exactly, but I've definitely encountered people (drunk people? I feel like I'm remembering a drunk guy going on about it) who have mentioned regularly going to Thailand and who make me wonder.
I'm not talking intimate, close confidants here.
But like if you had a work friend tell you that they are going to Thailand for vacation would your first thought be sex tourism or just normal vacation?
I wouldn't jump straight to sex tourism if there's no other red flags, no.
I have family connections out that way, I am aware there's lots of other great stuff around.

I hear the Netherlands is a hotspot for prostitution. Kinda like the Theiland of Europe.
Unless you're in Europe that's even more sex-touristy than Thailand. Nobody crosses continents for windmills, but lots of people like Buddhist architecture, beaches and sticky rice.
It's regulated prostitution in the Netherlands, at least, and sex work is work.
It is. I used to go there all the time back in the late 80's/early 90's for the prostitution. It's pretty much legal over there. There's a lot of red light districts in Amsterdam you can visit that just exist out in the open. It's great. I stopped after a little bit once I found out about the legal consequences this could have but I still look back at it fondly.

I used to work in Thailand off and on for 5 years and also spent 4 months in Philippines over that time scuba diving all over and visiting volcanoes etc. both are amazing places and to write them off just because some old creeps go for girls is flat out ridiculous
Thailand or the Philippines is actually the right answer, although it heavily depends on maleness and general vibes. If it's a women I'd just think "have fun eating street curry".
Dubai consistently knocks them down a couple pegs of respect.

Yeah, history was maybe a stretch, lol, the country kinda gives me the heevie jeebies tbh but some people do go to for instance Sharjah to live quiet lives, some perhaps even to Dubai for Islamic studies or whatnot (the ladies that are getting pooped on are from particular demographics and ethnicities too, because that's what these wild rich fucks are into, so I specified not to suspect everyone going to Dubai!) but the nightlife and private events can be and often do get haram AF 🤷😅
