I said goodbye to my pupper of 15 years on Friday. She was the goodest girl.

Tonight, she has a new eternal friend.

[–] BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

She does indeed! I'm so sorry for your loss. She was without question the goodest.

The only thing that would be worse than losing them is never having had them in the first place. RIP lil buddy.

Sorry for your loss OP. You have happy memories of them for a lifetime! I still smile when I think about mine, almost 10 years on. We'll miss them forever, RIP our good pups.

been here. time heals but you'll never forget him or your stories with him. nor does anyone want you to, so hold on to them and celebrate him or whatever you wish.

I've had dogs as pets my entire 44 years on this earth. It never gets easier to say goodbye to them. Earlier this year we had to get our elderly pup Gertie put down peacefully and it was just as painful as when I was 6 and had to deal with our dog Sam having been hit by a car.

I hope you're doing ok and can move on after this. Solidarity.

So sorry buddy. They are the greatest friends in the world and difficult to lose. I'm glad you guys had each other.

This is really sad news, losing a fluffy friend is a true bereavement. I hope he has millions of hot peppers and potatoes in doggy heaven. I also hope this time passes as well as it can for you.

I lost my beautiful friend to cancer last month, it was so incredibly painful I haven't fully recovered.

[–] atro_city@fedia.io 2 points 2 weeks ago

RIP lil pupper

Always hard saying goodbye, but that doesn't mean you're love for your dog will stop.

He has his own galaxy of vegetables to scour and muss. My new afterlife goal is to be one of the farmers he ruffles for fun. RIP...

[–] BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

That's a wonderful idea!

He literally dug potatoes out of the garden pot and ate them. I have no idea why he knew to do that.
