This is that guy in your local daily newspapers comment section who still rants about Obama like it's 2009.

Whether this was written by a bot or not, I'd say the intelligence is definitely artificial...

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 3 points 9 hours ago

Non-existent, even

[–] FundMECFSResearch@lemmy.blahaj.zone 69 points 18 hours ago (3 children)

Give same vibes as this NYT article that got shit on so much it got taken down lol.

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 4 points 10 hours ago

The working class hero is not the one that achieves success and then proceeds to fuck over the working class. That’s the billionaire’s working class puppet.

[–] loweffortname@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 10 hours ago

Bret Stephens is a bed bug.

[–] CalipherJones@lemmy.world 7 points 12 hours ago

That's about as out of touch as one can get.

Thinking that Musk is in the working class is the dumbest thing I've read this morning.

Plus the local school board is elected while Musk had a few months to destroy the government for the Republicans without being elected.

[–] artifex@lemmy.zip 63 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

It’s not dumb, it shows the brilliance of the ruling class in controlling the narrative. A lot of people will think this way and continue to support them even though it’s grossly misguided and definitely not in their own best interests.

[–] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 11 points 19 hours ago

It's both, the ruling class is absolutely using their control of the media to steer the narrative, but plenty of people who are exposed to the same media recgnize that Elon is the enemy, this guy is definitely still a moron in every timeline regardless of the state of the media environment

the dumbest thing I've read this morning.

More than the one about eggs being 400% cheaper?

[–] spankmonkey@lemmy.world 2 points 16 hours ago

I haven't seen that one, but yes this is stupider than being wrong about the price of eggs.

"but he works through the night!"

because he's shit at his job

[–] derry@midwest.social 14 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Because he's high as a kite is more likely

[–] Postmortal_Pop@lemmy.world 2 points 19 hours ago (1 children)
[–] papalonian@lemmy.world 2 points 10 hours ago

You can take any 2 of the 3 statements and put "because" in between them and it makes sense.

[–] ramble81@lemmy.zip 16 points 16 hours ago

Yes…yes… no… wtf

[–] AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space 55 points 21 hours ago

Don’t forget the true elites: the blue-haired, tattooed barista who makes your coffee, works two other jobs and shares with a roommate in his 30s.

[–] pennomi@lemmy.world 83 points 22 hours ago* (last edited 22 hours ago)

Mmm yes, nothing says working class like “admitted publicly that you bought an election”.

[–] sharkfucker420@lemmy.ml 28 points 19 hours ago

What zero theory does to a mf

[–] Sterile_Technique@lemmy.world 69 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Elon Musk is an enemy of the working class. Anything that states otherwise is an absolute lie.

[–] stinky@redlemmy.com 2 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

I don't understand the meme

Does the word "put" mean "assign to" (demote Elon musk by assigning him to the working-class) or classify? It's very poorly worded

[–] Empricorn@feddit.nl 1 points 17 hours ago* (last edited 17 hours ago) (1 children)

The wording is actually fine, but I realize not everyone is steeped in US culture and language every day. To "put [blank] in ..." is a common shorthand for assigning to a specific group or side. It's just a thought experiment.

Their actual point is unhinged, and easily proven wrong though...

WOW WOWEE WOW

[–] lemmy_outta_here@lemmy.world 23 points 22 hours ago

Square Joe Smith is clearly not in the thinking class.

[–] S_H_K@lemmy.dbzer0.com 9 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

I saw one of this but unironically some friends in a whatsapp group where complainig of games at 80 dollars. And the conservative one blamed lesbian writers. Dude how in the everlasting fuck can that be?

[–] Gradually_Adjusting@lemmy.world 6 points 19 hours ago (2 children)

Doesn't he know women are paid less?

[–] S_H_K@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 18 hours ago

Don't even try to make sense of it you'll hurt your braincells.

[–] JasonDJ@lemmy.zip 1 points 14 hours ago* (last edited 14 hours ago)

These guys image of lesbians are the classic dike/butch stereotype (is there a more preferred term?). They dress and act more masc so they must get paid more /s.

[–] mad_lentil@lemmy.ca 12 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Put the kettle on. I can work with this. First, let's define what we each mean by "working class" ...

[–] Endymion_Mallorn@kbin.melroy.org 8 points 20 hours ago

Yeah, this is how we should address this. Not mocking, but as a stepping stone.

[–] PhilipTheBucket@ponder.cat 11 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

For those who don't know

Which is probably a lot, they didn't give this song a lot of airtime. For some reason.

[–] General_Effort@lemmy.world 8 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Because of the word "fucking"?

It's one for the ages, though. It's been covered by a lot of Big Names over the decades. Ozzy Osbourne, Green Day, Marylin Manson, Marianne Faithful, Cyndi Lauper, Manic Street Preachers. And a lot of others. It's gotten quieter about the song these days, I guess, maybe because guitars are somewhat out of fashion.

[–] PhilipTheBucket@ponder.cat 4 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago)

That Cyndi Lauper version is a mindfuck.

Edit: They muted her for the part where she talked bad about religion...

[–] callyral@pawb.social 6 points 22 hours ago

well i sure hope this is satire or some way to bypass twitter moderation or something like that

[–] 9point6@lemmy.world 5 points 21 hours ago

Oh they were so close to getting it

[–] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 3 points 19 hours ago

My beef is not the person vs the institution. My problem is the people who build institutions and refuse to go through what we all go through.

[–] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 5 points 22 hours ago

Their final brain cell’s dying thought.

[–] HappySkullsplitter@lemmy.world 5 points 22 hours ago

Our school board is full of assholes

I'd never give them any more power than they already have

[–] huppakee@lemm.ee 1 points 20 hours ago

The real battle is between the ruling classes.
