That’s what I do and never had to use a public charger, however there are a lot of people who live in apartments with out garages or driveways and lack access to an electrical outlet.

Though at that point you should start petitioning the property management to install some common ones.

For now if you use Voyager, you’ll need to stick with Lemmy. But since it’s all federated it doesn’t much matter.

A few weeks for something that is almost 2 years out? They must have a lot of faith in their project planning to be able to accurately forecast a date that far out

Yeah. RFID would be easy enough to do, but the tracker would have to be pretty close to pick it up. And there’s no way it has GPS on it.
