I don’t 100% agree with everything here but it’s well done. And makes me sad.

It’s not dumb, it shows the brilliance of the ruling class in controlling the narrative. A lot of people will think this way and continue to support them even though it’s grossly misguided and definitely not in their own best interests.

The storage and labor is the biggest issue as you note, as is what to do with it when it’s raining and everything is soaking wet.
