Gata is street in Icelandic, so this is Baldur's Street.

That's correct. I speak Icelandic but not exactly perfectly, so I probably used the wrong version of þessi. Maybe should've been þessari?

Baldr is a god in Norse mythology so it makes sense. He dies and is then to be reborn after Ragnarok.
