Hello fellow Cyanide and Happiness fans!
Cyanide & Happiness (C&H) is a webcomic created by Rob DenBleyker, Kris Wilson, Dave McElfatrick and Matt Melvin. The comic has been running since 2005 and is published on the website explosm.net along with animated shorts in the same style. Matt Melvin left C&H in 2014, and several other people have contributed to the comic and to the animated shorts

About this community and how I post the comics… Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips. Of course these days you can read your favorite comics online instead of a newspaper, but I love the nostalgia of reading the daily comics. Anyway, one of my favorite current comics is Cyanide and Happiness and I will be posting the daily release from their website (https://explosm.net/) and a an extra or two randoms.

You may have heard the recent news about lemm.ee shutting down, which hosts this community:
This means we'll need to move to a different instance. I asked over in https://lemm.ee/post/65839869 if anyone had opinions on where to move and didn't get strong opinions other than "not lemmy.world or lemmy.ml", so I'm moving it to my home instance of discuss.online, for lack of a clear favorite.
I'll be cross-posting the comics until lemm.ee shuts down, but locking them and putting reminders about the move. Let me know if there's anything else that should be done.

The biggest reason is that @jgrim@discuss.online runs it really well. It's stable, updated frequently as Lemmy is updated, and he's really responsive to issues like trouble uploading images. I'm also a Lemmy admin on here, and since lemm.ee is going down in large part because of not enough admins, I think it's good to rehome the community to somewhere that I can help fix that issue if it crops up again.
