Fuck it. I just became a member of the NDP so I could vote on their next leader.

If you want to do the same, here's the link. It's minimum 10$/year.

Several elections ago I joined the CPC to vote in their leader election in the hopes of getting opposition that wasn't bat-shit crazy. Didn't work. I'll join you in the place I belong. Looking forward to seeing the candidates. Too bad Wab Canoe is busy.

If anyone could do it, it would be Wab honestly.

Absolutely. I guess we should let him finish his term though πŸ˜”

I'm already a liberal but I wish you and the NDP the best in selecting a leader

Dunno. We'll see.

I know Alexandre Boulerice might throw his name in for the position.

Ooh, he's trashed Canada's WWI involvement in 2007 as "a purely capitalist war on the backs of the workers and peasants." I like him already! πŸ˜‚

It should be Charlie Angus.

You think he could come back to politics?

The NDP needs to electing a humble union rep who cares about worker rights and salaries.

Jagmeet was a lawyer wearing a rolex and driving a BMW that sit idly by while the government forced unions back to work, as he bragged about providing unfunded scraps while he debased salaries with UN defined wage slaves. Focus on worker rights and housing demand, lift all boats, stop focusing on niche groups while making everyone poorer.

Physically standing with unions, but voting to not stand with unions every single time a union strike was broken up.

They held the balance of power for years and did nothing about it, did they not?
