Just looked through it quickly. Does anybody understand this part??

The maximum number of elements displayed in the HUD Layout dropdown menu has been increased from 5 to 10.

I’m guessing what it means is: in the HUD Layout screen, there’s a dialog box with a dropdown list of HUD elements, and they’ve just made the dropdown bigger when you click on it.

That’s my assumption as well. That dropdown is always really annoying to scroll, so this is a welcome change. I often place my job gauge behind the crossbar hitbox, where it can’t be selected otherwise with a mouse cursor, so I have to use the dropdown menu surprisingly often, especially since the client will forget job gauge layouts past a certain number of recently played jobs.

Oh, yeah of course! Thank you.
I read it like they referred to a list that only contained 5 items in total.

I think they mean the list that lets you select which item you want to move. The one you can scroll through

@Jee I'm always pleasantly surprised by the amount of QoL vhanges every patch brings.

Yeah there's a lot of it.

Hadn't even noticed this wasn't a thing:

Flying text will now be displayed for items and item quantities obtained via materia extraction, aetherial reduction, and desynthesis.
