Edit: Clearing the cache fixed it, thanks!

This has been occurring for a while now, and I've recently noticed that:

  • It only happens when logged in (not incognito mode)
  • It only happens on my desktop browser, not Jerboa (I haven't tested a mobile browser)

Especially looking to see if it happens on other instances/other browsers/other mobile clients

Information:

  • Desktop OS: Windows 10
  • Desktop browser: Firefox
  • Mobile client: Jerboa
  • Instance: lemmy.dbzer0.com

I initially just chalked this up to the instance being slow, but I recently noticed it not happening when logged out

Try clearing your cache. Sometimes the cache for lemmy gets into the gigabyte range and slows down the loading speed. A quick cache clearing fixes it.

I had someone on my instance with a the same issue. If it's not a network issue try showing your hidden posts and see if it works

Oh I thought that was just my internet x3.. mobile browser (chrome), boost and voyager all load lemmy fine, PC browser (zen) gets the spinning circle going for a long while

Edit: refreshing the browser page makes it load instantly for me, so.. could try that
