I'm pretty sure they were actually talking about the niche Total War Warhammer Content Creator.
First sensible thing I've heard Ford say. Good on him. And can someone ELI5 for me, what exactly is a Progressive Conservative?
Conservative whenever he feels like it.
Despite the name, Ford has racked up record spending in the last few years, with the most recent fiasco being an attempt to bribe ontarians with their own money in the form of $200 cheques.

It basically means fiscal conservative, social liberal.

However, in terms of his policy, usage of the notwithstanding clause to suspend our charter of rights and freedoms, forcing through of legislation, and privatisation, Ford would be best described as an authoritarian neoliberal.
I'm glad he's finally ripping up the contract but still cautious since this isn't the first time he's said that.
I completely forgot that he used the notwithstanding clause within like... the last few years. I don't know what it says about the times we live in (or maybe just my memory, im probably just exaggerating) that something that should be a major constitutional crisis for us happened and nothing came of it
I wish we had more Watergates because at least Watergate toppled a president

In terms of the history of the game, the CPC changed their name to the PCPC when the Premier of Manitoba, who lead the provincial Progressive party, took over party leadership and insisted that 'Progressive' be added to the name. The guy thought he'd get his voters to vote conservative, but they just abandoned him in the process and voted Liberal.
It never represented policy position. It was just one guy trying to bring some brand recognition along with him, and failing. As with most conservative language usage, it was all about confusing the issue and conning voters into supporting them.
Sigh, alas, we have similar confusion/ chaos/ bait and switch behaviours, here, south of the border.
