Hear me out here.

In season one, it’s clear than Henry is lonely, never had a single friend, had terrible parenting, and although he was right about the curse, it’s an insane thing to believe in as a boy, and center your entire life around.

He was OBSESSED with the fact that his teacher was SNOW WHITE and his therapist was Jiminy cricket??

Just from simply reading a book of fairy tails.

I guess you could say it was the real magic that made him believe.

“Heart of the Truest Believer” or whatever, but c'mon now, you can’t tell me, with this added, with the fact that he in extremely intelligent, he wasn’t a little autistic?

Either way, I feel like a few years pass, and all of a sudden we forget he was mental at one point, and now he’s normal, and live ships best life going to college with a big friend group and stuff.

I think him and Emma having to live in (?? I forget) for a while when one of the curses passed with no memories of their past life helped him a lot when he was an actual normal kid going to a real school with friends.

But still.

I don’t see this as a plot hole just something I think could have forwarded into his future life even adult him but was looked over as soon as the curse broke.
