The 1980 October Surprise theory refers to an allegation that representatives of Ronald Reagan's presidential campaign made a secret deal with Iranian leaders to delay the release of American hostages until after the election between Reagan and President Jimmy Carter, the incumbent.

President-elect Trump lauded the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal struck Wednesday, saying it would not have happened without his victory in November over Vice President Harris.

meanwhile Israel will continue to illegally occupy & annex land, and take Palestinian hostages (except, when Israel does it, they're not called hostages, they're in "administrative detention")

Nimrod was abducted by Hamas gunmen, along with the rest of his tank unit, near the Nahal Oz military base during the 7 October attacks. He was 19 years old.

"Abducted"? Okay say what you want about the civilian hostages but this guy wasn't abducted; he was captured. He's a POW.

That aside why the change of heart from Netanyahu?

The BBC was inside Secretary Antony Blinken's last briefing when he was interrupted. The reporter was physically taken out by security and has been identified as Sam Husseini.
