8. Misinformation is prohibited.

It will be especially fun when people refuse to even mask up and say "plandemic" unironically. The conspiracy theorists are already laying the groundwork for that narrative.

I was literally just thinking that.
If we get ANOTHER pandemic after putting absolutely no effort in improving world healthcare... God that'd be so depressing.
Viruses have been around since humans and will continue to be. We can improve our observation of them by getting close to their origin so we can prepare for them. Viruses can orginate anywhere, including the US. China, with its huge population is an exceptional breeding ground.
You'd have thunk the Born Agains would've made the connection between voting for Trump and being smitten by God with plague at this point, right?

This is directly contradictory to the current CDC statements on the matter, updated today December 18:
"No person-to-person spread of H5 bird flu has been detected."
That isn't observed human to human transmission. That's a "mutation favorable for human transmission" observed in a case without a clear animal source. Those are two very different things. Good lord, scared me for no reason.
A severed human head case of bird flu sounds pretty bad. That's not the title or anything, I just auto corrected in my brain.
