Good. Fuck Macron and his bullshit attempt to subvert the will of the people... again.

I wonder how long we will have to wait for Macron to name the next Prime Minister. Anyone willing to bet for a nomination before 2025?

[–] Mariemarion@lemm.ee 6 points 3 weeks ago

I am. We'll have someone in the next week. (And the Left won't like them.)

He won't wait this time. Trump is coming on Saturday and Macron won't want to look weak. Insiders seem to think he'll nominate someone today or tomorrow.

Spoiler: it'll undoubtedly be some right wing asshat.

The French constitution doesn't say the PM has to be a French citizen. He could nominate Trump.

Apparently the new hotness is to just declare martial law when things don't go your way

Pooty poot must be pleased.

Why? The French far-right is in the pocket of Putin, quite openly.

France in shambles is one less military supporter for Ukraine.

Macron's dogshit coalition breaking apart is unlikely to be "France in shambles" for long. His only choice at this point is to return to the left parties with his tail between his legs, since he already called a snap election and can't legally call another for a while.

Oh - well, in that case, /Excellent
