My tram was fine, so i guess it was cleared up promptly.

Yep. Train canceled. Had to walk and then be stuffed into an overfilled tram. Roughly 40 minute commute became 90 minutes or more.

Oh you are right - but it actually seems like history was repeating! https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/delays-ease-after-peak-hour-equipment-fault-hits-melbourne-trains/ar-AA1vaHLD seems to talk about the actual fault that was yesterday.

I caught the train for my 9-5 in the CBD. I have no idea how I dodged that!
