Must be one of those bot accounts that Elon Musk will remove.

Average X user experience be like.

[–] Lydia_K@lemmy.world 77 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

WTF is X? That is clearly a screenshot of Twitter.

Wasn't Trump banned from Twitter

[–] ElectroLisa@lemmy.blahaj.zone 28 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

He was, but it got reversed after Elon bought Twitter

Sad that he's actually using it again now. It was bloody hilarious when Musk unbanned him just for Trump to not even go back there.

No way, ElectroLisa!? Hiiii!! <3 (I find that username really cool)

[–] mindbleach@sh.itjust.works 18 points 2 weeks ago

Yes, and then a Nazi bought it.

But not from X. Checkmate haters.

My country banned X a couple of weeks ago, and up to now I missed a cool shitpost map.

Didn't Brazil revert that after Musk did everything they wanted him to?

[–] wander1236@sh.itjust.works 17 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The last I heard Brazil is saying Twitter sent the fine payment to the wrong bank account so they won't restore access until it's sent to the right one.

[–] skulblaka@sh.itjust.works 19 points 2 weeks ago

They state that they "had to guess" what bank to send the $5.24M payment to

Which is the most obvious bullshit I've heard in quite a while, and that's saying something, because I'm an American that reads the news. If I did that at my company there would be physical violence over it. There are not words to describe how absolutely and totally ultrafucked any employee of a legitimate company who tried this would be. Since there hasn't been a murder in the X headquarters all signs point towards they did this on purpose and haven't paid anyone shit, they're just claiming to have paid it and when Brazil didn't have the money they claim to have paid, someone scrambled for an excuse.

Up to yesterday, no.

I don't know what they are up to today.

Does this mean undertale canonically takes place in North Carolina? Huh, i understand the genocide route then.

[–] dastechniker@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Hi, as someone from one state down, what did you mean by this?

[–] shani66@ani.social 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Just that it'd drive anyone insane living in the Carolinas

[–] dastechniker@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Clearly, you weren't built for the Appalachian hazing ritual (wendigo)
