Hello everyone, I want to buy my first MIDI controller but I don't know if I'm suppose to look for any specific one to use it on linux with LMMS, or just buy any with USB support. Thank you

It should pretty much be plug-and-play unless you use some obscure or outdated distro that doesn’t use the latest kernel/drivers.

I got a behringer umc204hd and it integrated seamlessly with Ubuntu 22.04 get one of those and plug any midi controller you want into it cuz it has 5pin din

Just about anything should work. I have a Nektar lx88+ which works perfectly
