My hot take:

Whatever benefits Bibi is usually what happens. As an outsider, it seems like conflict keeps him in office, so something will coincidentally happen to make this fall through... probably.

doesn't help that the current president is such a simp that he's been caught, lying to the president's face; and yet that president is still willing to tolerate- and in fact militarily defend- genocide.

guess 4 million in campaign contributions buys a lot of loyalty.

I dunno if I would go that far, but Bibi all but sabotaging Biden does look bad for Biden. Biden must be fuming over the assassination.

for example

(sorry, its paywalled. One of the many things that Netanyahu lied to Biden about is the ceasefire deal. we all know that Netanyahu has no intention of accepting a ceasefire.

Edit: or are you suggesting that sending a carrier group isn't meant to posture us in a position to defend Israel from any potential Iranian conflict?

or perhaps you're suggesting that it's not genocide? Because, it definitely is.

You mean like Hamas not even showing up?

Because Iran says they'll attack if the talks don't work, and Sinwar wants that so this is the easiest way for him to cause it
