theres a wiki page on combat losses which gives a breakdown from multiple sources although it is a little out of date. unfortunately the (reasonably) exact number is probs only really known by Russian AF Command.

The AFU Claimed 409,820 russian losses (180,000 killed) as at feb 2024. with total losses about to pass 550,000 as of yesterday

Figures from other sources have more conservative figures though. see the wiki

Half a million Russians fucked to bits because war crimes are easier than resisting tyranny. Devastating realization

You overestimate Russian Army competency way too much... if they even cared how many people died

Or, from a different perspective, too many.

Not a single death on either side of the Ukraine war, has been necessary. They've only been unavoidable due to the murderous delusions of a single damaged man.

The whole thing is a pointless waste of human life and earthly resources.

And while there's an argument to be made that some of casualties of the war are deserved... A war where the fates of figters are determined by little more than random chance, isn't justice.

As a westerner i simply cannot fathom laying down my life for a maniac leader. When my manager at work asks me to code something i don't want to do i tell him to fek off. Why do these russian idiots carry on

You make them poor and with a minimum wage of around 200 dollar per month you offer them 2000 per month.

It's like offering a dutchie 23K per month or a german, french or Belgian 16K per month to go and fight. I'll bet you, there would be plenty of takers.

That works for the first 2 people, but 1200 dead a day you kind of think they'd have a brain cell

Yeah you'd think. But in the boonies of Russia people use horse and cart next to modern vehicles. The permiation of what is going on is probably not as good as you would think.

Ofcourse this is offset by caskets being brought back home, but desperation and poverty are pretty big motivators. If you would make it out alive after a year of serving at that salary you would be set for life. So it's like playing the lottery, with your life. Real life Squid Game. It's terrible.

Except they are not being payed for the most part. No food, medical, or equipment either. It's mind blowing how stupid and cowardly they are. If any one of them had any self worth they would turn their weapons on their leaders.

Fighting for the Russian army is a death sentence.
