“If you do not immediately cease all publication and marketing of the movie, President Trump will pursue every appropriate legal means to hold you accountable for this gross violation of President Trump and the American people’s rights,” Trump’s lawyer wrote.

Trump doesn't want people to see it. That's probably a good reason to see it.

Which is ridiculous because if you're watching it you either know how bad Trump is or you willfully don't care / think it's propaganda. It's amazing that he seems to think this will hurt his brand worse than anything he's done himself.

Trump is planning on using any and all political power he can get to go after his perceived enemies... That's his campaign platform.

From his friend Vlad. Great guy. Amazing, truly. So very smart. He knows how to run a country so well. Not like that fraud who STOLE THE 2020 ELECTION.

This is the first I've heard of it, so yes.

Someone should remind Trump's Lawyers that he is "former president." It's fucked to continue using the title when he is not currently the president.

[–] dariusj18@lemmy.world 16 points 4 months ago (1 children)

It is common and correct to always refer to former Presidents as President, they generally only say former if it clears up ambiguity.

It is a courtesy that we give all past presidents, though it does being a smile to my face every time the fat orange ass is called "Mr."

[–] Nougat@fedia.io 11 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Professional courtesy should only be extended to professionals.

[–] Tar_alcaran@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 months ago

The same argument applies to the word "courtesy" in there sentence

Y'all motherfuckers made Citizens United a thing, over that anti-Hillary movie. Sit on your own petard.

Oh you mean the Benghazi one that was widely released in theaters that conveniently left out the part where the embassy guards said everything was fine and they didn’t need any reinforcements?

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 9 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Is it because I have zero interest in seeing anything about that turd bag?

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 5 points 4 months ago

Yeah, we get bombarded with his face enough as it is. Maybe I'll watch it after I haven't heard from him for a couple of years, but at this point I don't think even him croaking would lessen the mania.

[–] dhcmrlchtdj__@lemmy.world 5 points 4 months ago

Disinterest is not that chilling a reason

[–] eran_morad@lemmy.world 4 points 4 months ago

Lolbruh. This is going to be widely distributed by pirates. I’m looking forward to seeing it.
