A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

I was just thinking that you could loosely look at each day being the four seasons. Morning is spring, afternoon is summer, evening is fall, and night is winter.

EDIT: Seems a lot of people are having difficulty understanding a loose comparison.

Except here, it's just summer all around the clock

Early morning is winter, midday is spring, late evening to midnight is fall. There's a lag time between the times of day and temperature just like there is with the solstices. Gotta overcome the heat capacity.

I like the loose compression very much. Up vote for you!

You've never been to Texas. It's still 90°F at midnight. It never cools down.

What do you mean that is cooled down.

[–] BruceTwarzen@kbin.social 3 points 1 year ago

Can someone explain why this is being downvoted?

Nope. Humanity will always be an enigma.

That's a pretty cool way of thinking about it
