But we won't let them open up a plant to make cars here, because we have to protect American CEOs who outsource the assembly anyways.
It's good we can get the buses but fucked we can't get their cars.
My Dell laptop battery is a BYD! Surprised when I saw the name. So that's... Something.
American "manufacturers" are fine with foreign parts they buy from China and get assembled into a product in Mexico.
It's just all those companies aren't actually contributing anything, they just increase the overhead which is why they can't compete against a Chinese company even when they're assembling in America like BYD.
But CEOs and shareholders are the ones that can donate millions to politicians, so both parties prioritize corporate profits over people.
