Wow, talk about your serious flight risks.
Only 200k bond though.
Lol maybe the government is daring him to try to flee!
That's... actually not a bad idea? Fleeing would solve as many problems for the country as anything. Would love to see him run to Putin or Kim or some other dictator idol; One for the history books! Unfortunately, he'll probably need more humiliation and losing to get to that point.
Would it solve any problems though? Unless they're set up to catch him in the act of trying to flee, he flees to a country that doesn't extradite to the US, his supporters become even more incensed than they already are, and the GOP gets an out for whoever they pick as their candidate for the 2024 election since they'd no longer have to fight trump. The con base is now solidified under a single candidate after the primaries, and they're galvanized against "the deep state liberal socialist commies".
The alternative is trump staying, causing further damage to the GOP as he splits the conservative voterbase between his populism and typical republican politicians, and likely gets convicted of multiple felonies. Imo, him leaving just let's the problem fester, while him staying likely splits the conservative vote
Really? The same Secret Service that was told the Inspector General wanted to review all their messages around January 6, and then all the Secret Service messages for a two-day period surrounding January 6 were mysteriously deleted?
The same Secret Service that made Mike Pence sound like a Criminal Minds victim when he said: "I'm not getting in the car, Tim,” Pence said. “I trust you, Tim, but you're not driving the car. If I get in that vehicle, you guys are taking off. I'm not getting in the car.”
That Secret Service?
If his freedom is on the line he would flee. As for properties, he doesn't need to sell them immediately or I don't think he even need to sell them. It's not like he is alone with it.
The Secret Service was caught treading water for him in some crimes.
Putin would promise Trump limitless wealth, a fresh new wife, and oligarch status for residence in Moscow. Trump would enjoy this status until he was no longer of use to Putin.
Nah, he would make Trump acting head of the Central Donbas Army. Promoted straight to a 3 star general. Forced to command the front line troops against the Ukrainian offensive from the trenches with an old rusty AK-47.
Hope he likes Hi, Mars.
dude has millions of morons giving him money. also who knows what he mightve gotten for our top secret documents.
also i dont trust the ss to stop him. they deleted subpeopaed messages relating to jan 6th.
Is the Secret Service actually empowered to stop a former official (not in office) from doing anything? It's my understanding former office holders can waive SS protection, so I would presume compliance with SS recommendations or orders is purely optional. Of course there's nothing stopping SS from phoning Jack Smith to let them know Trump just boarded a plane to Moscow....
