Do any of those strike you as not a parody?

None of them strike me as parody…. Plenty of folks behave as though they believe this stuff heartily. Many of them are in Milwaukee right now.

I hate how right you are...

Nashville, too.

Parody and satire have taken a real beating in the last years so I'd say ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I'll counter and say even if they are... FB and insta morons gobble up parody. They have no idea what it is. You post this over there and I guarantee you'll get 10,000 comments agreeing with it seriously.

None of them are parody. Some of them feel like parody, but the poster is dead serious.

If these were supposed to be parody, we'd see a few that weren't subtle. If they were just riffing, some would be so hyperbolic that there would be no doubt that the poster wasn't being serious.

Instead we have a mix of memes that either kinda feel like a joke, or come across as completely serious. We can assume that whoever uploaded these earnestly identifies with each of these.

That person is extremely stupid. Dangerously stupid, even.

Summarized for you.
