I hate the Mortis stuff. Not that it's badly written, but I don't like what it does to the cosmology of Star Wars. The more we try to add to the mythology of The Force, the more I feel it loses what made it so special in the first trilogy.

That being said, I agree with everything else you said. And my opinion doesn't count for much since obviously through Ahsoka we're further canonizing the Mortis stuff.

That's fair. If you have a lot of reverence for the OT and didn't like what the PT brought to Star Wars, then I can understand.

I don't hate the PT. Phantom Menace brought some of the best visuals to grace the franchise. My exuberant praise of the PT pretty well begins and ends with Duel of the Fates and Podracing, so I'll just leave it there lest anyone decide to invoke a religious war over it.
