Any work is exploitation really. Nobody wants to work just because they like working. We all do it for money, and we wouldn't do it if we didn't get paid. Even shops buy stuff cheaper and sell at a higher price. We all live off each other

And? That's your counter? Get out of here with that weak shit.

[–] cosmicrookie@lemmy.world 1 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Sorry I don't get your comment. What do you mean with counter? and why do you call my comment weak?

[–] TheControlled@lemmy.world -1 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Your counter argument fucking blows.

That's fair, but I don't see the difference between you comparing landlords to pimps, and me comparing pimps to any kind of work. We are the same! Just from opposite sides

[–] TheControlled@lemmy.world 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Pimps are parasites and detrements to society. Regular work is not, typically.

[–] cosmicrookie@lemmy.world 1 points 7 months ago (1 children)

What is regular work? Who decides? I'd expect some store managers may treat employees worse that some pimps treat the girls who work for them.

Im not arguing for or against prostitution but you seem to be drawing an ethical line based on your own idea of what is right or wrong

Yes, I am. And not budging. It's a clear line that I will not cross or smudge.

Its also your right to! Just not to force it onto others.
