This is like saying we have missions in the game but we are also giving you missions we took out of game and charging more. Changes nothing imo.

This game doesn’t come out for another four months and they already have content that is cordoned off from the game. Absolute ass.
There’s a whole new level of hell for corpos that are putting season passes into single player games.
That's on Disney, for licensing this property to scumbags like EA & UBI. LucasArts did better. We had TONS of great games back then.
EA did good with their 10 year license, though. People sleep on the EA Battlefront games.
Don't get me wrong, EA tries to pull shit all the time and is a shitty company. They tried to make a shitty lootbox system in BF2 but were fairly responsive to fan criticism, and the game got a shit load of free content.
Unlike Ubisoft, who is literally carving out on release content to sell you.
Need I remind you of the "sense of pride and accomplishment" brought to us by EA?
I directly addressed the topic, the lootboxes in BF2, so probably not.
This is quite literally the opinion I'm addressing. People hold on to this while ignoring the 4 years of free content pumped into the game.
While I acknowledge you statements both this and the previous one, it's the attitude and mindset of someone who states what I quoted that bothers me.
This idea of "fuck the players let's fleece them for all their money". For me, 4 years of free content doesn't make me forget about that mindset. Someone legitimately thought and said it, and my trust in them to treat me as more than a walking wallet is lost as a result.
If you don't have that issue then let me tell you that I'm glad for you but I hope you understand that I do.

There were no microtransactions required on their lootbox system. It was a randomized level up system that could be skipped with money, similar to how people pay to speed level a battle pass.
So yea, this is all inaccurate drama. It was a shitty system that people didn't get, clearly seeing how people still don't get it today.
And it was all removed before the game was 1 week old, which was followed up with 4 years of free content.
Name 1 Ubisoft game ever published that they removed all microtransactions from and pushed 4 years of free content.
Gonna pass on that chief, I think Ubisoft is hot garbage as well.
