We should ban alcohol then!
Alcohol is the most dangerous chemical consumed by the most people. Any person advocating societal level harm reduction through chemical prohibition and not including alcohol as the king of the problem chemicals is either a fool or arguing in bad faith.
Just because we have already legalized worse stuff doesn't justify legalizing more stuff.
