I was just about to go down to the post office to see if my package was chilling there when I heard a thud and my package is just in front of my door. No postman in sight, like a little package fairy.

It seems that the second digit of my address had been scratched off (but nothing else on it), so now I'm even more confused. It looks almost intentional. But if it wasn't delivered because the number was scratched, that's even more confusing. Why did the tracking say it was delivered? Why was the neighbours package delivered to me? Was this the package god just testing my faith? Will we ever know all the answers?

Without ranting on it too much, I think I'm just going to chalk it up to both human error, and trying to game the system. It was initially meant to be delivered by the PDC boys, I believe from memory they get paid per delivery like uber eats people, and they have massive delivery zones, so I don't blame them for just marking it delivered and then taking it to the LPO. But I still think they got confused and meant to take my neighbours to the PO rather than give it to me, but it is what it is I guess.

Well, at least you have the package, which is good news. Mine is still hanging out in Sunshine, so my hopes of a pre-Easter delivery will not be happening.

Yeah. I find that sunshine is good, until it's not so good. They're usually efficient, but if they don't get it done within a day, it ends up sitting there for a week
